The gathering was hosted by the Emmanuel Baptist Church located at 9 west 10th St in Tyrone. The activityincluded from the beginning registration, time of fellowship, coffe and donuts; two business sessions, one in the morning and another in the afternoon. Also the celebration covered the annual elections of officers, reports and updates from the various leadership teams, introductions of new pastors, updates from the state, installation of new officers, and a prayer of dedication. The annual sermon was in charge of Moises Rosario, planter of Hispanic churches in the West of PA. The sessions of this activity was separated by a luncheon served by Emmanuel Fellowship Church committee. Special music also was provided by the church's Praise Team.Was a great milestone in CVBA, the ministry that is reaching souls for Christ in nine and half counties around the valley of the Conemauth river, under the leadership of the Dr Doug Pilot.

CVBA Cerebrates Christmas Dinner

The Conemaugh Valley Baptist Association celebrated the Saturday December 15 their annual Christmas Dinner. In spite of the cold night, the warm of the Christian comradeship felt like between the pastors and wives that attending to the activity that took place in a restaurant of Osterburg.

Doug Pilot, director of the Association, after making a brief count of the profits and successes of the ministry thanked to God to have blessed the ministry during the year 2007 that finishes. After the dinner the pastors and spouses interchanged humble gifts.
